Away.com Lists The Reef as Top All Inclusive Resort

GRAND CAYMAN, Cayman Islands (July 27, 2011) - The Reef resort was ranked as a Top All-Inclusive Resort on Away.com last week. Among 29 resorts listed, The Reef stands out as the only Cayman Islands resort.

The list includes Caribbean, Central America and North America locations. The Reef is among 14 Caribbean resorts that make the cut.

Away.com writer Lena Katz, author of the Travel Temptations series from Globe Pequot Press, reviewed The Reef and explains in the article that The Reef's East End location makes for a laid-back atmosphere, saving guests from the cruise-ship crowds that flood Seven Mile Beach on the west side of the island.

Katz doesn't forget to mention The Reef's 1,600-foot stretch of white sands, the largest of any resort beach on the island. All 152 condo-style rooms are beachfront, offering guests a patio or balcony just inches away from the sand and sea.

'Fittingly, the beach is the center of activity for most guests, with the Rusty Pelican bar serving as the ultimate beachfront hangout,' she wrote. 'The property has a good non-motorized sports program, all of which is included in the "simply all-inclusive" package.'
